“Sound is the vocabulary of nature” - Pierre Schaeffer
Waveform, it’s the form of sound, it’s the pattern of signal, it’s an abstract but solid display of sound.
By vibration of air, it transmits the invisible sound to human being, and transform it into a concept, perception.So that we would read the rhythm of sound, and emotion of sound, and taste the sound.
“The world changes materially. Science makes advances in technology and understanding. But the world of humanity doesn't change.”
The nature of sound has never been changed, from analog to digital era, the analog media record sound in a physical way, we would even read the structure of sound on the form of media.
“WaveForm” exhibits works created by artists from various of discipline: music, graphic design, installation art, photography, etc. They rethink about the wave form, interpret their imagination of sound with a form of art piece.

Waveform，聲音的形狀，信號的形式，是聲音抽象但具體的展 。
聲音的無形，由物理的方法傳到我們的朵，在腦裡再轉化成為概念，一種感知。 這樣我們可以閱讀聲音的變化、情緒，這樣我們可以細味音樂

即使聲音由類比年代，變成現在的數位媒體，聲音的本質從來沒有變過。類比媒體把聲音以實在的物質記錄下來，當我們仔細查看，我們甚至可以看到聲音的結構。
《聲的形態》由來自不同界別的藝術家：音樂、平面、裝置藝術、攝影等，以他們的角度，解讀聲音，把聲音的形狀重新構想，雕刻出他們對聲音的立體想像。
