Time, space, and objects — Image in motion encompasses three-dimensional space and one-dimensional time. From painting to photography, from cubism to futurism, creators are inquisitive about the subject. Its research and development have become indispensable evidence in the development of science. As they reimagine and unfold the dimensions through various methods, Image in motion serves as an exemplary platform for connecting technology and arts.
Arts & technology team Dimension Plus extends their continuous research on Image in motion in this audiovisual installation DIMENSION FLÂNEUR. The installation draws from local street video footage, aiming to stack and shift the three-dimensional space and one-dimensional time through non-linear computation and various settings. They explore dimension hybridisation and open up new avenues for visualising the mixing of space and time. This installation is a pilot experimental project for the team's theatre performance in March 2025.
